ACME Worldwide Enterprises Inc. (ACME) has been chosen to provide TrueQ Dynamic Motion Seats for the U.S. Marine Corps UH-1Y and AH-1Z simulators under the H-1 Lot VI New Devices and Technical Refresh program.

Under a subcontract to FlightSafety International, ACME will provide two motion seat systems each for the Yankee and Zulu trainers as part of the technical refresh for the original flight simulators. The new seats will provide motion cueing across the mission envelope for both flight and ground operations and for normal and emergency procedures.

ACME’s motion seats use a patented, all-electric motion system that translates acceleration signals from the flight model into commands for the multiple motion channels and harness tensioning that work in concert to provide cueing.
